Our results tell you how well our children have attained at the end of each key stage. They reflect the hard work of our children and the dedication, talents and enthusiasm of our staff. We are proud of our children’s progress from their starting points, their positive attitudes to learning and their efforts to attain well. 

In 2016 there were new progress and attainment measures at key stages 1 and 2.

In Year 6:

66% of our children achieved the expected level or above in reading

24% achieved greater depth

66% of our children achieved the expected level or above in writing

10% achieved greater depth

55% of our children achieved the expected level or above in Maths

14% achieved greater depth

69% of our children achieved the expected level or above in English grammar, punctuation and spelling.

17% achieved greater depth.

79% of our children achieved the expected level or above in science.

In Year 2:

68% of children achieved the expected level or above in reading

25% achieved greater depth

61% of children achieved the expected level or above in writing

18% achieved greater depth

64% of children achieved the expected level or above in maths

21% achieved greater depth

89% of children achieved the expected level or above in science

In the Year 1 phonics test:

90% of pupils achieved the expected standard.

In the Early Years Foundation Stage:

67% of pupils achieved what is termed a good level of development at the end of the stage (end of Reception year).
