Visitors from the Gurukul School

Our visitors from India arrived on Sunday 21st June!  They were collected by Ms. Brewer and spent the day at Runnymede, Windsor and Hampton Court. They spent Monday with Year 1 at Joss Bay at the seaside braving the English Summer and they enjoyed seeing the children have such fun!  The rest of the week was spent in school, a visit to Ladywell Fields as part of the Jimmy Mizen Foundation Peace walk, a visit to Forest School and a meeting with a Lewisham Councillor.  They had several evenings out including Greenwich, boat trip down the Thames, a walk round 'Royal London' with a theatre trip, a bus tour on an open roof bus, and, lastly a trip to the Kent countryside to visit Chartwell.
