Diary from India - Wednesday 15th October

Ms. Brewer and Mr. Hollis walked around the district of Panchkula and Chandigarh during the morning to soak up the election fever and to see street vendors close up.  Later on they met another Gurukul school Head teacher and were taken to one of the newest shopping areas and saw the promotion of Diwali.  There was no trip to the Himalayas after all due to the election.

On the pictures below you will see Vijay who Ms. Brewer and Mr. Hollis are staying with.  You can see a mark on his finger that is indelible ink that shows he has voted and also his voting ID card. 

Thursday will see the visitors working in the school in classrooms to learn some teaching and learning tips!
