Baring Girls' Football Team

The girls football team yesterday played the London Youth Games 2013 tournament at Cystal Palace Stadium. We attended the opening ceremony, Zoe Smith Olympic Weightlifter Silver Medalist was there.

How did we qualify?

We travelled to Sedgehill Secondary school where we won the tournament against 5 schools and ended up going home with gold medals. Some of the girls won wristbands to show their stenghts in football. The awards were for self belief and honesty.

After qualifying we attended Crystal Palace stadium and played seven matches,  wewon five, drew one and lost one.

42 teams competed in the London youth games and Baring came 5th. Read more information here
