UNICEF and the Sustainable Development Goals

Investing in children and young people to achieve a more equitable, just and sustainable world for all

Baring Primary School is committed to the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). These were adopted by all United Nations Member States in 2015 to end poverty, reduce inequality and build more peaceful, prosperous societies by 2030. Also known as the Global Goals, the SDGs are a call to action to create a world where no one is left behind. There are 17 goals. This term we are focusing on 'QUALITY EDUCATION' ( Goal number 4). 'Baring' along with many other Lewisham schools will be forming links with  schools in South Africa. Below is a link to a wonderful video with a message to you all from the Insikazi schools in South Africa. There are also links to videos that Year 6 have made on what they believe 'A Quality Education' is.

Enjoy!
