About Baring School
Baring Primary School is a small, friendly
school, which serves a relatively small area immediately adjacent to the school.
It is a one-form entry school, taking up to 30 pupils in each year group. The
Nursery has both part-time and full-time places and is staffed by a Nursery
Teacher and a qualified Nursery Nurse.
Baring is a mixed school and its pupils reflect the diverse local population.
Located close to the South Circular road, the school consists of a mixture of
old and new buildings. The traditional Victorian school building was
substantially altered in the early 1980’s and a new frontage built,
consisting of a hall, offices and a classroom. The school stands in grounds
that have been substantially improved in recent years.
The school has a committed staff who work hard to enable pupils in their care
to achieve high standards. The school is supported by an active Governing
Body and parental involvement both in classroom activities and school trips,
and in fund-raising events.
